El Dia de los Muertos Performance and Workshop
Museum of TTU
Sunday, October 28, 1:30-4:30pm

To celebrate El Dia de los Muertos (The Day of the Dead), the Museum of TTU will offer a marionette show by Dallas performer Kent Williams at 1:30 pm, followed by a workshop for participants to make their own marionettes. El Dia de los Muertos is an annual traditional holiday from Mexico during which deceased family and friends are honored and remembered.

The marionette workshop will accommodate 100 persons. Those who can’t attend the workshop will be able to make a skeleton mask and/or decorate a non-edible calavera (skull), much like the Mexican traditional sugar skulls for the celebration.

The play, workshop, and skull-decorating events are all free and open to all ages. No registration is required. For more information call 806.742.2432 or email to .
